B2 COMMUNICATIONS TEAM

Taylor Tew

PR Intern

Taylor Tew is a Spring 2020 intern with B2 Communications. She is a junior at University of South Florida-St. Petersburg pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications.

Each semester, two public relations interns assist our team with tasks such as drafting press releases, brainstorming media pitches, developing social media content, assisting with research, and preparing client reports.

Outside of her internship, Taylor runs the social media accounts for the Tew Farms produce market in Lithia. She’s also involved with the Jensen’s Heart of Gold Foundation, which provides funds for local children who are battling cancer, specifically neuroblastoma.

Taylor hopes to work in either the journalism or public relations field.

B2 stands in solidarity with the black community, and we’re taking a look at how we operate our business to be even more intentional about the opportunities that we offer through our internships, employment, clients and their work, partners and vendors. We’re also considering how our actions can help increase economic vitality for black-owned businesses in our community.

@greenbooktb has an easy-to-use directory of black-owned businesses and organizations in the #TampaBay area. We highly recommend experiencing the African American Heritage Trail, visiting the @cgwoodsonmuseum, attending the Tampa Bay Collard Green Festival each February, meditating on one of @yalaford’s many murals around #StPete, seeing a performance by @alexharrisofficial, and listening to the incomparable @siobhan_monique_ (on Spotify too). And don’t miss Al's Finger Licking Good Bar-B-Que in #YborCity. 📷: @pezzphoto at 2018 @tbbca Impact Awards
