B2 public relations director Shannon Burch drives results for B2’s clients using proven integrated communications strategies learned over her 15 years of agency experience.
Shannon has been successful in leading campaigns that focused on driving paid, earned and owned media reach, crisis communications efforts and content creation strategies in senior public relations roles at full-service marketing and communications agencies. She has worked with a range of global and national brands including McDonald’s, Marriott, Hertz and Melitta USA along with clients across the technology, tourism and hospitality, retail, nonprofit and professional services industries.
Throughout her career, Shannon has led integrated marketing and communications campaigns for brand relaunches, crisis communications for a global quick service brand and community engagement for product launches in the Tampa Bay area and nationally. During these campaigns, she successfully directed website re-brandings, led content creation for social media, shot and implemented advertising campaigns and revamped marketing collateral. Her integrated approach to communications generates and strategically leverages earned, owned and paid media to drive results around clients’ business goals.

Shannon has been an active member of Public Relations Society of America’s Tampa Bay Chapter since 2019, serving on its membership and diversity & inclusion committees. Through her committee work, Shannon co-founded a job-loss support group that connects regional PRSA members who lost their job due to COVID-19, and provides resources and tools to encourage career success as they move forward.
A New England native, Shannon graduated from the University of Tampa with a bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations. She lives in Tampa with her husband and daughter, and spends time indulging her passions for health and yoga, teaching classes and co-hosting a fitness podcast.
