Quyen Tran

Quyen Tran, a Spring 2024 intern, is a junior at the University of South Florida studying integrated public relations and advertising with a mass communications minor.

As a public relations intern at B2 Communications, Quyen assists the B2 team in preparing client reports, researching program elements, crafting social media content and drafting effective communication materials.

Before joining B2, Quyen worked in a wide range of marketing and communications positions across USF. She worked as the social media and communications intern at the USF Foundation, the marketing communications assistant for the Judy Genshaft Honors College and a scriptwriter/research assistant for an AI-integrated academic chatbot project. Throughout these positions, Quyen has spearheaded innovative strategies to run email marketing campaigns on Salesforce CRM, managed social media content to promote multi-million dollar philanthropic gifts and covered student success and event marketing initiatives at USF.

Quyen is also passionate about campus leadership and involvement. She currently serves as a USF Ambassador and the managing editor of USF Sparks Magazine, a publication dedicated to raising awareness of diverse issues and uplifting Asian communities. In this role, she supervises more than 35 writers and graphic designers through all publication stages to publish one magazine issue per semester.

She has a passion for writing, and she’s published over 25 digital and print articles over the past two years. She previously held junior editor, contributing writer and news correspondent roles with on-campus publications, including the USF Oracle newspaper, Thread Magazine and Her Campus Magazine.
