As their college careers end, many students face uncertainty about what career fields to pursue. PR internships are a great opportunity to explore different avenues within a major and gain real world experience before, or even after, graduation.
B2 offers PR internships year-round to college students and recent graduates. This summer, B2 has welcomed Brianna Rodriguez and Danielle Lysik to the our PR internship program to support our client teams. Additionally, Brianna and Danielle are involved in the editorial process for The Tampa Bay 100, from writing articles to helping with search engine optimization to managing the digital publication’s social media accounts.
Prior to joining B2, Brianna has worked with both the Sarasota Herald-Tribune and the University of South Florida St. Petersburg’s campus newspaper The Crow’s Nest. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mass communications at USF St. Petersburg and will graduate in 2020. Brianna will be working closely with the Tampa Bay 100 editorial planning, as well as assisting with clients like SPCA Tampa Bay and PatientCare.
Danielle returns to B2 Communications after receiving her bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of South Florida St. Petersburg, as well as gaining media and event coordinating experience with Cox Media Group. Her responsibilities at B2 include media research and reporting for clients such as Colliers International, Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council, and the Prevent Needless Deaths safety campaign through the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County.
