Each semester, B2 Communications provides internship opportunities to college students and recent graduates interested in a public relations career. Our two spring interns join us from the University of Tampa, and over the course of this semester both will gain real-world experience by taking important roles in our client work.
Emily Dorso is a senior at UT pursuing a degree in advertising and public relations. She is actively involved on campus, serving as head student coordinator at the PEACE Volunteer Center and as communications chair for UT’s Delta Zeta chapter.
Emily joined B2 with valuable writing and research skills that she developed while interning with the Paley Center for Media in New York City. She provides writing, reporting and research assistance to Ybor City Development Corp., SPCA Tampa Bay, Revenue Management Solutions, Arnstein & Lehr and USAmeriBank.
Eric Schnetzer is also a senior at UT pursuing a degree in advertising and public relations. He is currently the director of web and public relations for UT’s Student Government, where he maintains the organization’s social media and works to help raise visibility of the group on campus.
Eric previously interned with the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, gaining experience in customer service, client relations, and monthly reports and analytics. At B2 he assists with Sunstar Paramedics, Environmental Pest Service, Ybor City Museum Society and the Krewe of Sant’ Yago Knight Parade.
