Join us for a book club: Smart Brevity

Curiosity and continuous learning are two core traits of B2 Communications and its employees. We’re constantly sharing articles and books that we’re reading and discussing new reports on the PR industry.

Our team regularly discusses Smart Brevity concepts for writing. Concise writing - or Smart Brevity-style writing - considers your audience. Your readers are short on time and often overwhelmed with texts, emails and social media messages.

Plus, they’re under-informed and frustrated despite your attempts at communication. More than half of American adults read below a sixth-grade level. Concise content reduces readers’ confusion and increases their reading comprehension.

Smart Brevity puts B2’s philosophy on writing short, impactful communications into a book format. Built by Axios journalists, Smart Brevity is a communication formula that prioritizes essential information, explains its impact and delivers it in a concise and visual format. It’s an essential guide for communicating effectively and efficiently.

It’s a quick and easy read, using the concepts described in the book to move readers through the chapters. It prompts thoughtful consideration on making every word matter in your writing.
