B2’s commitment to advancing the PR profession continues with the team’s involvement in the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA). Leah Saunders and Juliette Lauer are serving on the chapter’s Board of Directors and volunteer with its communications committee for the 2015-2016 year.
FPRA Tampa Bay is one of 16 chapters statewide that provides professional development and networking opportunities to PR professionals and students. The chapter hosts networking events, seminars, accreditation courses and award competitions and provides scholarship opportunities.
As vice president of communications, Juliette will lead the chapter’s efforts to ensure Tampa Bay PR professionals stay informed of chapter news and events, and Leah serves on the communications committee. The committee creates a monthly newsletter, gains media coverage, and maintains the chapter’s social media accounts, website and blog.
Juliette has been active in FPRA Tampa Bay since 2010, and served as social media chair for the past two years. She was a member of FPRA’s Joe Curley Rising Leader Class, which recognizes emerging leaders who have shown personal dedication and engagement in the association, in 2013 and 2014.
Leah has been an active FPRA Tampa Bay chapter member since 2009. She served as chapter president during the 2012-2013 year and has since held various board positions. She was part of FPRA’s “Rising Leader” class of 2012.
