You may think of B2 as experts in public relations, media relations and marketing strategy, but we’re also publishers. We started an online news platform, The Tampa Bay 100, in October 2016, and our readership has grown to more than 24,000 e-newsletter subscribers who receive it in their inbox every other week.
Through The Tampa Bay 100, B2 delivers news on local events, food and drink trends, business tips, Tampa Bay history and more in exactly 100-word stories. Story ideas and content come from regular contributors, which includes the B2 team, as well as experts from around the Bay, and national contributors from sister publications in other markets.
This past week, B2 received a received an award for its work on The Tampa Bay 100. It was honored with an Award of Distinction from the Florida Public Relations Association’s Tampa Bay Chapter in its annual Image Awards, which recognizes outstanding public relations tools and programs. B2 received the award in the Digital Tools of Public Relations category for the quality of The Tampa Bay 100, as evidenced through high click-through rates and very low unsubscribe rates.
