
B2 Communications, one of the leading public relations agencies in west-central Florida, is pleased to announce the addition of two talented professionals to its team, Ashley Areeda and Katrina Moynihan.
Ashley Areeda joined B2 Communications as an account director. She will advise and counsel the agency’s clients on effective public relations, digital and social media strategies. She brings 15 years of experience leading successful and strategic integrated communications campaigns to the agency.
Before joining B2, Areeda worked as an account manager at Stratacomm, a Washington, D.C.-based integrated communications agency. She has experience in working with a wide range of business-to-business and consumer brands, including Ford Motor Company, the U.S. Department of Transportation, Volvo North America and the Motown Museum.
“Ashley’s passion for excellence combined with her deep understanding of integrated communications will be immensely beneficial for our clients,” said Missy Hurley, APR, co-founder and principal of B2 Communications.
In addition, B2 has promoted Katrina Moynihan from a public relations intern to an account coordinator. As an account coordinator, Moynihan will coordinate projects, create content and pitch stories.
“Katrina has gained solid foundational PR skills as an intern, and she’s consistently shown a hunger for learning this industry,” said Hurley. “We look forward to seeing her grow as she starts her professional career with us.”
Prior to her internship at B2, Moynihan was a blog writer for Her Campus, a student-run online magazine, and completed a marketing and communications internship at Elevation Financial Group, an Orlando-based real estate investment company.
