Joey Niedziejko

B2 Communications account manager Joey Niedziejko plays a key role in creating effective public relations plans and implementing tactics in communications strategy, media relations and content strategy and development for the agency and its clients.

Joey has the excellent ability to foster strong and meaningful relationships with the media. He’s secured coverage in a number of prestigious publications including the Washington Post, The New York Times, USA Today and Bloomberg.

Prior to B2, Joey has been successful in leading client management and account executive roles at boutique communication agencies in Philadelphia. In these roles, he planned and executed various strategic communications initiatives. Joey was responsible for wide-ranging functions such as media positioning, social media management, thought leadership opportunities, content creation and distribution.

Industry & Community Involvement

Joey is serving a three-year term on The Pennsylvania State University's Bellisario College of Communications Alumni Society. He is serving as part of its Young Alumni Council. He will build connections between alumni and students, provide mentorship opportunities and support professional development programs that strengthen the Bellisario community.

In addition, Joey is serving as a mentor for the Public Relations Student Society of America's Bateman Case Study Competition. In this competition, students are challenged to develop and implement a public relation campaign on behalf of a real client. In this role, he is guiding a student team through a semester-long PR campaign.

Presentations & Workshops

He serves on panels and lectures for Penn State public relations and marketing classes. In these presentations, he covers different aspects of the PR industry like artificial intelligence, public relations writing and the future of media.

Education

Joey graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations. During his time at Penn State, Joey developed a passion for public relations by holding multiple leadership positions in the Student Programming Association. In these roles, he oversaw the promotion and logistics of numerous large-scale events including Adam Devine, Jon Bellion, Brothers Osborne and Pete Davidson.

Based in Philadelphia, Joey is an avid sports fan and concertgoer. He enjoys rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. He also spends his weekend’s homebrewing and working on his coin and paper money collection.
