Fall intern Sarah Bounaim gains hands-on PR experience

Intern Sarah Bounaim, a recent graduate of the University of Florida, joined the B2 team this fall to gain real-world public relations experience to help launch her career.

Sarah has been assisting client teams with a variety of tasks from writing to research to creating reports. She has been gaining valuable experience in working with B2’s team who work with such client as SPCA Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg Free Clinic and USAmeriBank. She’s excited to assist at community events for client Prevent Needless Deaths, a child safety awareness campaign, because she has a passion for children and charitable work.

Sarah also assists with B2’s publishing platform, The Tampa Bay 100, by writing articles about local history, client news and interesting events happening around the Tampa Bay area.

Outside of her internship with B2, Sarah works part-time with The Doctor Whisperer, Inc., where she assists with event planning and media relations. Every Tuesday, she also assists the duPont REGISTRY with their weekly podcasts.

After her internship, Sarah hopes to pursue a career with a nonprofit. She aspires to start her own nonprofit organization that teaches children how to become international messengers of peace in Morocco.

At UF, Sarah earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations with an outside concentration in primary education.
