Tanasia Reed is a Fall 2020 intern with B2 Communications. She is a junior at Florida A&M University, and she’s pursuing a bachelor’s degree in public relations.
Prior to joining B2, Tanasia interned remotely with San Diego-based Luxe Kurves Magazine. As the PR/Marketing manager, she worked with the Editor-in-Chief and creative director to develop and execute marketing and public relations initiatives for the magazine, including brand partnerships, advertising sales and social media.
She’s also the Communications Director at Journey Magazine, Florida A&M University’s student-run magazine. In this role, she plans the magazine’s social media strategy, oversees the public relations team and acts as a liaison between the magazine’s readers and its editor.
Each semester, two public relations interns assist our team. They help with tasks like drafting press releases, brainstorming media pitches, developing social media content, assisting with research, and preparing client reports.
