Nicole Golba is a Spring 2021 intern with B2 Communications. She is a senior at Seattle University, pursuing a degree in communication and media with a specialization in strategic communications.
Nicole is excited to put the knowledge gained during her collegiate coursework in journalism and public relations and past internship experience with her assignments. As a PR intern, Nicole will be working closely with the B2 team to provide research, reporting and social media for clients like Omnivore, Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council and Community Foundation of Tampa Bay. She’ll also be working on content for B2’s website, blog and social media channels.
In addition to her internship, Nicole is the Managing Editor at The Spectator, Seattle University student-run newspaper, and is a student-athlete. She edits, publishes, manages the editorial board and writes the breaking news pieces for The Spectator.
Previously, she interned at Durham, North Carolina-based NextPlay where she created content for the startup’s podcast, blog, website and social media accounts. She also completed a communications internship with San Diego-based Urban Restoration Counseling Center where she created the practice’s monthly newsletters and managed social media accounts for its therapists.
Each semester, two public relations interns assist our team with tasks such as drafting press releases, brainstorming media pitches, developing social media content, assisting with research, and preparing client reports.
