B2 is proud to partner with Brigitta Shouppe, who has 10 years of public relations and legislative affairs experience. Her high level of skill in media relations, strategic communications, government relations and crisis communications is beneficial as she partners with B2 on client work.
Brigitta has over a decade of communications experience working with political campaigns, referendums and public policy issues throughout the Tampa Bay area. She brings valuable experience in message testing, communicating with public agencies and elected officials, and public engagement for complex controversial projects.
Her work has included leading communications efforts on the successful citywide referendum for The Renaissance Vinoy hotel’s proposed parking garage in St. Petersburg (2017), raising the visibility of economic development issues on behalf of the Florida Economic Development Council, and helping 19 local government candidates throughout Tampa Bay, including notable wins for Pinellas Sheriff Bob Gualitieri and Rep. Kathleen Peters (2012).
Previously, Brigitta was the assistant director of public relations for the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. She led the public relations bureau and oversaw media relations, legislative affairs, marketing, social media and communications. Prior to that role, she worked on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., for her hometown Representative, Peter J. Roskam (IL-06).
