Tanasia Reed joins B2 as a PR intern

Tanasia Reed has joined the B2 team as a PR intern working virtually from Tallahassee, Florida for the Fall 2020 semester. Tanasia is a junior at Florida A&M University where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in public relations.

As an intern, Tanasia assists B2’s team with reporting on our successes and creating content for the agency and its clients across several different industries. She can also attend “B2 University” educational workshops led by B2 principals Kyle Parks and Missy Hurley, APR and professional development sessions hosted by other organizations. She’s already joined PR director Shannon Burch for a “Social Media Best Practices” session, and participated in session about AP Style updates with PRSA Tampa Bay.

In addition to her internship, Tanasia serves at the Communications Director for Journey Magazine, a student-run magazine at Florida A&M University. She plans the magazine’s social media strategy, oversees the public relations team and acts as a liaison between the magazine’s readers and its editor.

Prior to joining B2, Tanasia completed an internship at Luxe Kurves Magazine. The San Diego-based magazine is committed to showing the beauty of all body types and skin colors. As PR/Marketing manager, she created marketing plans, developed brand partnerships, worked with graphic designers on advertisements, and created social media content for the magazine.

Summer 2020 intern Heather Ball is continuing her PR internship with B2 through the fall semester. She's been accepted to graduate school at Florida State University.
