Account executive Brigitta Shouppe was named to the Business Observer’s “40 Under 40” list of top professionals in west Florida this year. She was honored for her work on public engagement projects.
For B2, Brigitta works with such clients as the Florida Economic Development Council on media relations outreach and content creation, and The Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort and Golf Club on public engagement around a construction project needing voter approval on Nov. 7, 2017.
The Vinoy referendum will be decided in a few short weeks, but to date, Brigitta and the B2 team have earned unanimous support from local leaders, elected officials and business groups.
Brigitta works closely with co-founder and principal Kyle Parks on identifying key stakeholders and ensuring that the message reaches decision makers. For example, she recently placed guest columns highlighting the Florida Economic Development Council’s work in helping existing Florida-based companies expand, showing how economic development is about much more than financial incentives.
She also works with Bryant Miller Olive, a law firm that represents governments, businesses and agencies in public finance, state and local government law, complex transactions, project finance, and litigation matters. Nikki Nate, an attorney with BMO’s State & Local Government and Litigation practice group, was also recognized on the “40 Under 40” list for her work representing city, county, and state governmental entities.
Congratulations, Brigitta and Nikki!
