B2 Communications is proud to partner with Kyle Parks who has a combination of journalism, corporate and agency experience. Kyle runs a solo consulting practice, Parks PR, working in such fields as real estate, hospitality and higher education.
Prior to starting Parks PR, Kyle co-founded B2 Communications with Missy Hurley, APR in 2010. Previously, he served as Director of Corporate Communications for Walter Industries (now Walter Energy), a Fortune 1000 company at the time, before running marketing and PR for two national real estate programs, for Jim Walter Homes and for the land development division of Plum Creek (now part of Weyerhaeuser).
Prior to his corporate experience, he was an accomplished journalist, winning national awards during his tenure as a business reporter and editor with the St. Petersburg Times (now the Tampa Bay Times).
Kyle has a B.A. in history from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tampa. He is a member of the University of Tampa Board of Fellows, the Public Relations Society of America, and the Urban Land Institute.
