for the arts
B2 is proud to be a “pARTner” of Tampa Bay Businesses for Culture and the Arts. TBBCA’s pARTners provide valuable support for TBBCA programs, such as Chalk Walks and the organization’s annual Impact Awards. As a TBBCA pARTner, B2 supports arts education, local artists, cultural events and arts organizations in the Tampa Bay area.
As part of the relationship, TBBCA has helped facilitate B2’s purchase of works from three noted area artists – the late Theo Wujcik, Ya La’ford, and Nathan Beard – and co-hosted an event at B2’s offices to showcase the museum-quality artwork now displayed on B2’s walls.
Also, B2 has participated in several TBBCA Cultural Encounters, raising awareness and support of arts and cultural institutions. In May, B2 hosted an Encounter at Stageworks Theatre in Tampa in conjunction with a production of Neil Simon’s “Broadway Bound.”
B2 Principal Kyle Parks is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, a nonprofit research and education organization that promotes and encourages responsible land development.
As marketing/PR chair for ULI’s Tampa Bay district council, Kyle has secured news coverage of ULI panels, including a team of experts from around the country who assessed downtown Clearwater and made recommendations to the city on ways to improve its downtown and waterfront areas.
More recently, the ULI 2016 Florida Summit brought together leading real estate professionals from around the state including developers, attorneys, engineers, architects, and land use planners. As part of a session on marketing and public relations in the real estate industry, Kyle gave a presentation on what companies should do to prepare for and respond to a crisis.
