Lauren Martin brings strong background in media and public relations
B2 Communications has added a new account executive to its team. Lauren Martin brings strong marketing and public relations experience to her role as an account executive with B2.
At B2, Martin will develop and implement strategic public relations campaigns for such clients as Revenue Management Solutions, SPCA Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg Free Clinic and Rizzetta & Company. She also worked closely on Tampa Bay Navy Week in partnership with the U.S. Navy’s lead contractor for the project, General Dynamics.
“Lauren’s experience in writing and media relations will help her provide our clients with strategic and impactful communications,” said Missy Hurley, APR, principal of B2 Communications.
Prior to joining B2, Martin worked at Feld Entertainment, a worldwide leader in producing and presenting live touring entertainment experiences. She gained key skills in the digital marketing department before transitioning to public relations, where she developed strategic public relations initiatives for touring brands, including Monster Energy Supercross and AMSOIL Arenacross.
In both of her roles at Feld, Martin built brand awareness through messaging, managed content creation and social media, and executed special events. Previously, Martin interned at Valpak as a copywriter, and worked briefly as a tour promoter in Italy.
A St. Petersburg native, Martin received a bachelor’s degree in journalism and media studies and her master’s degree in digital communications and design, both from the University of South Florida St Petersburg.
