Summer interns enrich their PR experiences

B2 welcomes college students and recent grads year-round to participate in our internship program, which aims to enhance the professional experience of promising future PR professionals through meaningful work and hands-on involvement.

This summer, Olivia Kresic and Jacob Lynn have joined B2 as PR interns and they’re providing valuable support to the agency and its clients.

Kresic and Lynn assist account teams with a wide variety of tasks including research, writing, and client reporting as part of the agency’s team-based approach. They also assist with building and enhancing B2’s corporate brand by writing for our blog and contributing content to our social media channels.

Kresic, a senior at Florida State University, helps with such clients as the St. Petersburg Free Clinic, SPCA Tampa Bay, and the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay. She also assists with B2’s publishing platform, The Tampa Bay 100.

Kresic previously gained public relations and marketing experience during internships with Brock Communications, vXchnge and Innovative Software Technologies Inc. She is an active member of the Student Capital Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association and will graduate spring 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in public relations. After graduating, Kresic plans to pursue a career in the PR field.

Lynn is a recent graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in communications. He assists the teams of Peerfit, Marlow’s Tavern, Lennar Homes and Fisher Phillips, and contributes to The Tampa Bay 100.

While in school, Lynn was a member of the Media Fellows Honors Program. Prior to joining B2, he interned with the sports department of the Tampa Bay Times and was a public relations intern with the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Lynn hopes to use his experience in journalism and public relations to start a career in the professional sports industry.
